The Initial D Collection

Initial D posters for fans of the touge: Takumi Fujiwara’s Toyota AE86 Trueno, the tofu-delivery car that out-drove far more powerful rivals on the downhill runs of Mount Akina, and the machines that tried to catch it.

The collection follows the series rival by rival. Ryosuke Takahashi’s Mazda RX-7 FC and Keisuke’s RX-7 FD carry the Akagi RedSuns colours, Takeshi Nakazato brings the Nissan Skyline GT-R R32, and Bunta’s Subaru WRX STi is the car that finally beat the AE86 on its home pass. Team Emperor arrives with the Mitsubishi Evolution III and IV, while the Honda Civic SiR-II (EG6) and Civic Type R (EK9) bring the VTEC challenge. Each car is drawn in a clean, minimalist style over a map of the course that made it famous.

Every print is offered with or without the series logo, in 8 x 10, 11 x 14, 12 x 18 and 16 x 20 in paper sizes, or as a 16 x 20 in aluminum panel. The rotary rivalry has a story of its own in The Legend of the Mazda RX-7, and for more Japanese icons, explore our JDM car posters. Pick your favourite rival, and take the downhill line home.
